Papilio ulysses, commonly know as the Blue Emperor, is a large swallowtail butterfly that is located in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. The wingspan is about 10.5cm (4 in) but the size varies depending on the subspecies. The underside of their wings is black and brown, contrasting to the bright blue that is the upside of their wings. In Australia, the butterflies feed on the blossoms of the pink flowered doughwood tree, while the larvae feed kerosene wood, and a variety of citrus and Euodia Euodia trees are heavily used for the laying of the butterflies eggs. As all of our specimens are real the look of the specimen will vary slightly. Found in Indonesia Black or brown frame
